Day 1 - IXB/NJP to Darjeeling

  • Arrival: Arrive at either Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP).
  • Travel to Darjeeling: A scenic drive from IXB/NJP to Darjeeling, known as the "Queen of the Hills," amidst tea gardens and rolling hills.
  • Check-in: Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax after the journey.
  • Evening at leisure: Enjoy the cool mountain air and explore nearby areas or relax in the comfort of your hotel.

Day 2 - Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Darjeeling is a treasure trove of natural beauty and cultural landmarks. Here’s a quick guide to the must-see places:

 

  • Tiger Hill

    • Famous for its breathtaking sunrise views over Kanchenjunga, the third-highest mountain in the world. A must-visit spot for early risers to witness the majestic view of the snow-capped peaks.

 

  • Ghoom Monastery (Yiga Choeling Monastery)

    • Located at a high altitude, this Tibetan Buddhist monastery is known for its peaceful ambiance and a 15-ft statue of Maitreya Buddha. It is one of the oldest and most revered monasteries in Darjeeling.

 

  • Batasia Loop

    • An engineering marvel, this spiral railway track allows the Toy Train to cross itself while providing panoramic views of the surrounding hills and Kanchenjunga.

 

  • Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park

Day 3 - Darjeeling to NJP/IXB Drop Via Mirik

  • Scenic drive to Mirik, a picturesque lakeside town (ideal for photography & leisure walks)

  • Visit Sumendu Lake, Simana View Point, Pashupati Fatak, Gopaldhara Tea Estate & Tingling View Point.

  • Continue drive to IXB/NJP for departure

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • 30 Days or More Before Tour Start Date: 30% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 15 to 29 Days Before Tour Start Date: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 14 Days or Less Before Tour Start Date: 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
